Getting to Know Mura
Logging In to the Mura Administration screens
Different users can use Mura. Each user who has access to the Mura Administration screens should be provided a unique User Name and Password. To login to Mura, you must enter the correct combination of User Name and Password.
Follow the procedure below to log in.
1. Open your Web browser.
2. Enter the web address or URL provided by your Administrator. This is often in the form http://www.yoursite.com/admin, although it can be configured differently for a given site.
The web page of the application with the Login panel opens.

The Login panel is displayed below.

3. Complete the two fields in the login window as described in the table below.
| Field | Description |
| Username | Enter your login username. (Login Usernames are not case sensitive.) |
| Password | Enter the password. (Passwords are case sensitive.) |
| Remember Me | This checkbox is optional. Check it to allow the system to remember your login and password information so that you may login without having to type it every time. |
4. Click Login, or press Enter on the keyboard.
After a successful login, you’ll see the Dashboard page. Users will automatically be logged out after a period of inactivity – the time period is configurable in the Site Settings menu (only available to Administrative users).
Note: If you have forgotten your password, enter your e-mail in the Enter your e-mail address field and click Submit. Your password will be sent to you in an e-mail.

Note: The login screen shown above is one for an administrator. The screens are different for users and clients. See Creating Site Members or Creating Administrative Users for more information.

The "Creating Users" link does not go to a location from whence the information can very-obviously be found. If the information is there (or anywhere...) it is certainly well hid.

Hi Mike,
Sorry about the link mixup. I've updated the page to include links to both types of Mura users. Let us know if you have any more questions. Thanks for the heads up.

You guys should really have the documentation in PDF format with cleaner images. Some are very bad quality. Plus, can be printed and read offline.

Tim,
Our documentation tends to get updated frequently so having it in multiple places is impractical for the time being. That being said, we are looking at making it available via other formats.

Regarding the "Note:" in item 4 about forgetting your password, isn't this dependent on the Email tab under Site Settings having been completed or can Mura compose and send Email independently of those settings?
