Creating Members

To create a new member, click Add Member from the Site Members & Groups page. The Member Maintenance Form will be displayed.

Enter the user's information in the required fields of the basic tab. When you are done, click the Address Information Tab.

Enter the user's address information into the fields here. This information is not required. When you are finished, click the Group Memberships

Select which groups you wish to add the user to by checking the box associated with the group's name. When you are finished, click the Interests tab.

You can check the boxes next to each interest group related to the user.

There are a few extra fields here to fill out:

  • Subscribe to Email Broadcaster: Choose whether the user will be subscribed to the email broadcaster or not.
  • Active: Sets the user as active or not.
  • Tags: You can enter tags associated with the user.
  • User Type: Select whether the user is an Admin User or regular site member.
  • Include on Contact Form:: Check this box if you want to include the user on the site's contact form.

When you are finished, click Add.
