Adding Content
Content Types
Before adding content, it is best to be familiar with the different content types available in Mura CMS. Each type has a unique function that can meet your needs. Below is a description of each type.

Page - Page content types are the website pages of your site. These are the most commonly used content types containing text, images and links. |

Link - Link content types are links to other content items. They can be used to link to other websites from the main site or to another section of your existing website. |

File - File content types are files that have been uploaded to and managed from File Manager. File icons denote common file types such PDF (shown), Word, Excel, Zip and others. |

Portal - Portal content types allow you to aggregate related content into a defined group. It has no content of its own, but displays both title and summary of each content item within the group. |

Calendar - Calendar content types allow you to display scheduled content in a traditional calendar format. Content placed under a calendar is scheduled by its “Start/Stop Dates'” |

Gallery - Gallery content types are collections of images. They allow you to aggregate and display images as galleries. |
Adding Content
To Add content, you must first be within the Site Manager. For information on the Site Manager, please visit the Site Manager section.
From the Site Manager, mouse over the plus sign next to a content node. Be sure to mouse over the plus sign associated with the node you would like to add a content item under. When you mouse over this button, a menu will appear.

Click the content type you would like to add. You will then be taken to the Edit Content page. Visit the Editing Content section for more information.
Copying and Pasting Content Items
You can also create a page, group of pages, or portal by copying and pasting an existing item in the Site Manager.
Copying
From the Site Manager, mouse over the plus button associated with the content you would like to copy. Just like adding content, a menu will appear:

Select Copy from the list.
Pasting
Once you have copied a page, you can paste it in the Site Manager where you like. To paste an item, mouse over the plus sign associated with the content you would like to paste under and select Paste.

Your newly pasted item will appear as a child of the content you chose to paste under. The pasted page will carry the same name as the original content with "- Copy" appended to the end. You can edit this page to change its name and contents. See the section on Editing Content for more information.
