Components
Components are reusable content objects that can be created and shared amongst multiple pages or sections within your site.
Utilizing components will save you time by allowing you to create a single instance of a component that can be assigned to multiple pages. In addition, you will be able to update and manage the display of a component used across multiple pages using a single interface. We like to think of them as "Mura-side includes".
The other function of components is to be used as content templates to allow non-technical users to recreate a visual style for a specific type of content without having to start from scratch.
Viewing the Components Manager
You can find the Components Manager link in the left panel menu. When you click it, the Components Manager will be displayed to the right.
The existing components will be displayed in a table, similar to the Site Manager. You can view version history, set permissions, and edit components just like pages. Check out the Working with Content section for more information about editing pages.
Components Filter
You can find specific components by using the filter box above the components table. This is useful in sites that have a large number of Components.
