RSS Tab

In addition to managing content within your site, local content indexes are a great tool for creating RSS feed for external publishing. Using the RSS tab gives you the ability to refine the RSS feed to meet your specific needs.

  • Description: Type a description of the content in your feed.
  • Make this a default feed in customizable feed component?If you have set up a customized page with draggable feeds, select Yes.
  • Is this a Public Feed? Select Yes if you want your RSS feed to be available for public consumption through RSS readers.
  • Allow HTML in item descriptions? Select Yes to allow HTML in your RSS. If you choose No, RSS will be published in plain text.
  • Version: Choose your RSS version.
  • Language: Choose the language you are publishing your RSS in. By default, Mura publishes in English.

When you are finished filling out all the necessary fields, click Add to create your local index.  After clicking Add, your local index will appear on the Content Collections page.
