Group Permissions for Content
Control who has authoring and editing capabilities of content by setting permissions.
In Mura, permissions are group-based rather than user-based. Only the Admin group has permissions by default. Subsequently, when you create groups, they have no permissions at all. In order to give groups the ability to view, edit, and publish content, you need to grant them appropriate permissions.
Setting Permissions
Permissions are on a per node basis, so you can set specific permissions for each page, or simply set permissions for each section.

From the Edit Content page, click the Permissions link near the top of the page, just below the content type and status. You will see a page that looks like the following:

Under Administrative Groups you will find a list of your administrator groups, and under Member Groups you will find your site-member groups. You can use the radio buttons to select a type of permission for each group.
Mura profiles 5 types of permissions:
- Editor: Allows the user to edit, create, and publish content.
- Author: Allows the user to edit and create content, but not publish it.
- Inherit: Inherit is the default, which means the specific content node will inherit the permissions of its parent.
- Read Only: Users can view content, but not edit or publish.
- Deny: Denies the user access to the content. Users cannot create, edit, publish, or view content.
When you have made your selection, click Update to save your changes.
