Components as Objects

Components can be used to provide a single point of edit for an object that can be used in multiple places, site-wide. Simply create a Component and make sure it's assigned to be available in the Site Manager. Now when you edit a node, your component will be available to place into display regions by going to the Layout & Objects tab and then selecting Components from the Available Content Objects select menu.
